Are you just looking for paying work, or will you consider non paying? If so, have you tried student films? Even independent projects are not hard to get. NYU alone could fuel the NYC resume of a newbie. If you are looking for bare bones resume material, independent and student films fill that niche. It ain't hard, really. Just keep trying.

it's gonna hurt to hear this, but you're going to need a better headshot before anyone calls you in.

CD's get thousands of submissions for these projects. You headshot has to stand out against those kind of numbers.

sure

actorsaccess.com, nycastings.com, backstage, knowing people, and through an agent

don't use craigslist. You'll get screwed.

I've gotten legit paying jobs off of craigslist. You have to proceed with CAUTION!

AVOID EXPLORE TALENT AND ONESOURCE!

I stand corrected. But it may be a NY thing since that's where I live. I don't even check craigslist for acting jobs anymore. Maybe I should give it a shot though...

El- you going down for that "explore" one. lol !! Your funny !! Happy New Year. Dave Like mention before go around to the schools NYU, SVA, NYFA, Columbia all of them and keep dropping of head shots man. Backstage, CL is okay like El said you just have to ask the right question when submitting for a project. Network like what your doing now.
