I usually say that I'm either at least 18, or if it's going to be shot at a bar, I say, I'm at least 21.
Skeeterkitty They should not be asking you, unless you are a minor. If not, the answer would be "I am over 18", "I am over 21", or 'I play _ to_". Luck and grace Jim

The difficulty has to do with the fact that it is illegal for a potential employer to ask your age at a job interview--in this case an audition. I guess they are allowed to ask if you are over 18, for child labor law reasons, etc., but that is it. Hence the question.

If a CD asks for your age, you can bet your union card it's for legal reasons... ...over eighteen for child labor laws, and over 21 if alcoholic beverages are being consumed. If these legalities aren't at issue, they'll often make character age determinations based on what you look like and how you carry yourself. In many cases chronological age doesn't give an accurate impression on how you'll appear on camera. “Whatever works.” www.robertkim.comhttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm0453647
