The roie is listed on the Equity Website EPA audition for Shrek. The role is also listed on Playbill under the Shrek EPA. Roles are usually not listed under the chorus audition, only the EPA auditions.
It's best to check the AEA site and Playbill for auditions. Sometimes they are the same info, sometimes not.
Also, I recently found out Equity requires all new shows under a Production contract, be it a tour (Like this one) or a Broadway production to hold 3 days of EPA auditions, one day of singer auditions and one day of dancer auditions. This Shrek tour is under a Production contract, like the Broadway Shrek, so Equity requires the same set of audition days. Not to discourage you, they may be looking.
Hope this helps.

Yes, agent appointments are held in addition to, and always after, EPAs. There are two types of EPAs: required and non required. There are typically not agent appointments after nonrequired EPAs, which are held every 6 mo. because Equity rules require them, and not necessarily because there are any casting needs at the time. Agent appointments usually do follow non required EPAs, as the cd is actively seeking new performers.
Hope that helps.

Yes, Equity requres an EPA and a Chorus Call for all shows under a Production Contract (Which is Broadway and Most Tours) every six months.
For every NEW Broadway show or Tour under a Production Contract (Like the Shrek Tour, which is technically a new show, as it is a new tour) Equity requires 3 days of EPA auditons. These 3 days of EPA auditions for the Shrek tour were required by Equity. Which means they may or may not be looking for people. Probably not.
All these rules can be found on the AEA site under the membership tab. Equity requires the producers to hold auditions to be fair to AEA members so they are able to be seen. If it was a Non Required call, which means not required by Equity, it would say so. Shrek tour did not say this, so assume it was a required call.
I keep track of the last EPA's and Chorus Calls were held to know if it is the required 6 month call. Unless it says Non Required, it's required. Even a new show. Like Priscilla of The Desert. It's having 3 EPAS..Because it's a new show, it has to have 3 days of EPA's. Whether they need actors or not. Probably not.
