Hello! I am a newbie, and just got an audition for a pilot. The audition notice said to download the script ahead of time, and it is about 11 pages long.

Would someone kindly give me some insight as to what to expect at the audition? Should I have all of my lines in the script memorized? Will they likely be having me audition the whole thing? Or just a part? Will I be auditioning together with the other roles?

I'm starting to get nervous...=P

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I would be prepared and have the sides memorized.

I do have a question, how did you get the audition? Do you have an agent and or Manager. They are your "GO TO" persom for this.

ABSOLUTELY!!!

Off Book, choices made but able to take direction and do the sides from a couple of different points...

Your Mgr/or agent should be telling you this.. or theyt assume you know already...get to work!!Smiler

Thanks for the responses!

I don't have a theatrical agent (only commercial), so I got this through a self-submission on Actors Access. I have only had one other theatrical audition, and those sides were not available in advance, so I didn't have to worry about memorizing and what not.

I guess I was confused about this particular script because it was 5 or 6 scenes, and am not sure if they'll have us audition all scenes in series, or if they're just going to pick one ot what. But, I guess definitely better to be safe and learn the whole thing!

Thanks for the replies!
