I have an audition for One On One this Friday... I am wondering if anyone has any experience with auditioning for One on One? Has anyone ever been rejected from them? Or heard of a friend being rejected? If so, did you audition again? If anyone has ANY experiences with One on One NYC I would love to hear about it. Thank you!!!

Hi Alex,
I know two girls currently with them who are very pleased with their services. Neither currently have representation and graduated from top BFA programs (one CAP21, the other BU).

One of my very dear friends auditioned and they basically rejected her and tried to talk her into purchasing a class package. This sincerely surprised me as she is a very talented, marketable actress and can probably run circles around the other two girls put together!

My feeling is that is depends who auditions you and what you make of the experience.

FYI. The same casting directors and agents go to The Network, Actor's Conenction and One on One. In my experience, they are all the same. Helpful, but the same. I acquired my commerical agent at Actor's Connection.

The same Casting Directors, Agents and Managers do go to places from places. But one thing about One On One Production (which is the same in LA) - is they often bring in Tribeca/Sundance Filmmakers (Dito Montiel did a one day intensive last year), and other Guests that rarely do workshops.

They also have classes that are not available in other studios. (For example, Marci Phillips of ABC casting, does 1-day intensives else where, but only offer 6-weeks class at One on One).

Other Workshop places also offer different class/intensive combinations... So you'll just have to do a little research and compare which place offers a class that is more suitable for you.

My audition with One on One was fine. I had two friends who got rejected - but they can re-auditon again in 3 months.
