i think it's going to be really tough to be seen without an agent appointment. plus, do you really think they are going to replace anyone from the current show?

We're going to give it a try on Sunday - it's an open call, and our manager hasn't heard yet if they're doing agent appointments, so it can't hurt to try the open call (other than surviving the waiting).
And even if all the kids from Goodspeed do continue on to Broadway, they are going to at least need a few swings, which they don't have up there.
We saw it a few weeks ago and the music and choreography was great - the kids were all wonderful, and it seemed very fun! But the kids in CT have been working very, very hard as the show evolves, so for their sakes, I do hope they all get to go on to B'way.

Sorry, it's not exactly and open call - it's an EPA - but I'm guessing they'll see non-Equity kids after the Equity ones, since it's an all day call (and most Equity kids have probably been seen already for this in one of the earlier auditions, so might not go to this call?).

On ActorsEquity you can read the part about being seen if you are not Equity. I'm sure you already know that. Of course there's always a chance to be seen. My daughter always has been, so far. Don't you think the Equity kids who were seen before will come again? I mean, why not? I guess it's possible that some of those are called in anyway.

My daughter is not Equity and when we went to the last EPA for this show we were in and out in less than 2 hours! Unfortunately they asked what grade se was in and she said 11th so that took care of that! She's only 16 but I guess they're pretty tight with the 13-15 age range.

>I would say the majority of them look about 14. There are some older ones but a lot of really tiny kids in there who could pass for younger. <
Actually a few of the kids were cast when they were 12 and have recently turned 13. There are several who actually ARE young -- not just looking young.
