Hey everybody. So, I submitted for ABC's talent showcase (today was the deadline). Anyone else here submit?

Oh, I just bumped it to get it higher on the list so that people would look at it again. Haha.

But, I haven't heard back yet-no. But I did a little online sleuthing and found that last year there was a week's worth of time between the deadline submission and when they held call backs. So, I'm gonna go ahead and say we have until Friday to hear.

I mean, remember, they're probably going through thousands of submissions...so it's gonna take some time.

Please keep me updated though!

I am really stupid I guess, I thought *bump* meant that there had been an endless, ongoing thread that meant you needed to refer to. So I went to find function on BS and, well, obviously, found nothing. Could someone fill me on on the term *bump*. And Roger, good luck, there may be thousands, but you could be the one.

Every time someone posts on a thread, it is "bumped" back up to the top of the list. So if someone wants to get a post commented on again or they just want people to see it again, they will bump it up.

hey guys! i know this is kind of late, but did you ever end up hearing back?

i got a call back for the New York call, but unfortunately I wasn't in NY at the time. So they told me to resubmit for Los Angeles (which is where I live) and so I'm going to do that and let them know in a cover sheet that I had been previously accepted to audition in New York!

If you auditioned, please let me know of your experience!

How do you submit? I haven't heard about this, I have gone to other ones, but my agent always sends me in. Can you submit yourself?

I'm not sure which showcase you are talking about. The ABC Talent Showcase for LA did not open until June 24th and is open until July 10th. Check the Actors Access breakdowns for June 24th and it is listed with all the details.

Where did you guys get your info? I submitted based on the info here. Did you guys see something else?

As part of its ongoing effort to discover and develop culturally and ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities, the Disney ABC Television Group's Casting Project will hold auditions for consideration for the ABC Talent Showcase.

ABC's Talent Showcase has established an industry standard in creating opportunities for talent, with the majority of participants being given the chance to audition for a variety of ABC (and other networks') pilots and ongoing programming.

Yes, ABC called me on July 15th. I go in for an audition on Monday.
