It's picking up now...kids have 6 aud (b/w 3 of them) scheduled for next week already!! Yay!! Hopefully the pace stays. Will be interesting to see if this is just a surge from the Holiday downtime, or (fingers crossed) a steady pick up.

Hoping for some audtions soon for 16 year old daughter. This is a tough age. Anyone's 16 year old daughter being sent out often in the past 6 months? Just want to make sure it is the age and timing before we seek new representation!

My daughter will soon be 16 and hasn't been sent out on tons, but she has had some good auditions in the last 6 months. It can all depend on look and size too. My daughter is only 5'3 so she is tiny and can play younger. You can private message me if you want more info.

My daughter's agent actually said this time of the year is usually slow but it should pick up in February and with the writer's strike it's even slower

I spoke to all my DD's reps yesterday and they said its starting to pick up.Unfortunately still not too much for 15-17 age range! Hopefully soon for commercials at least!

They are starting to do quite a few films here and there are currently the promise of auditions soon. I was on set yesterday but it was just Extra work. But right now that's better than nothing.

Totally agree Heather! We went to "Doubt" as an extra on the 4th and they decided to shoot the shot from a differnt angle and never used the kids! Ughh! Sometimes you can't win. It was fun and a short day! Any project is good right now!
