Just for statistics and out of curiosity, how many auditions do you go to per week? Including student films, print, anything that would book you something?
And out of that, how much do you book?

You're in a different market than I am. You are going to have more chances to get calls every week. but on average a couple a month. This pass May, I had 6 auditions. If I signed up for every aud. possible, maybe 1-2 a week.

I think it all depends on the gender, age, and look of the person. I have spoken to moms who have kids who aud 5 times a week to kids who aud 5 times a month or are even lucky enough to get 5 a month. It all depends.

What I mean by market, is where you live. Which city you live in.ex LA is going to have more film auditions than like NY/here. Seattle is going to have more theatre (or at least it seems) than LA. Sometimes if a particular project gets too many submissions, they have to narrow who looks closer to the part (what they have in mind).

Even in a single market the number of auditions can vary based upon your type, age range, represnetation, etc. Time of year has some impact upon it also. I've had weeks where I audition 5 or 6 times and have gone two weeks without an audition. It seems like everything varies.

I used to get three to five a week, but I've become a little choosier with my submissions, so it's fewer of (hopefully) higher quality now. And I do get offered projects without auditioning sometimes too.
