My son went in yesterday and there were about 5-6 girls there. I know it was a first audition for some (don't know about the rest). They did ask a few to stay and read sides. Haven't heard anything yet....

We just heard that they lost their funding and the show is "postponed" til at least June. Although the sense is, is that is probably cancelled for good.

My friend went yesterday(possibly first time...) and sang the song they had asked her to prepare. She sang, then they made the key higher for her and had her sing it a few more times in that key. The they gave her sides to read... it went very well for her!!

Yes- very disappointing. We were told my DD would've been cast!

Sassysmom your dd would have been perfect! She looks just like the little girl on the cd cover. I enjoyed your blog when she was on tour and I'm sure many more good things will come her way!

I do hope that they will be back, although my dd's manager thinks that when they "postpone", they are really cancelling. Did anyone else who went get any feedback from their auditions?
