I have an audition appointment tomorrow morning in the midst of an anticipated snow storm! Takes me an hour to get to the city & then train to CD. Should I call CD first thing in the morning to make sure they are seeing people? I would hate to trek in (if I can even get there) to find out that things have been cancelled. I am wondering if I can even reach them before I need to set out. Would it be too much to expect a "C mail" (on AA-which is how I was contacted) telling me that the audition was postponed?

My son had an audition in NYC during a major icestorm...he would have an hour drive to the train over roads which were not sanded/salted or plowed so we told him to stay home. He called the cd to cancel, the cd yelled at him and hung up on him. Needless to say, he never heard from them again! We looked at it as a cd that he would not want to work with so he saved himself a trip. No audition is worth an accident, imho.

Congrats on your audition! Be safe, whatever you decide!
Weather wasn't a problem thankfully! Phew! I love this CD's office- I keep getting called in from there & it is where I booked my 1st job from, so hopefully I will have some booking "luck" again
