Did anyone have children audition this week for Oliver @ The Walnut Street Theatre? I didn't ask many questions at the end of the second day of callbacks but another parent said offers will be made by the end of NEXT week?!? I hate the wait...but I guess we should be used to it!

I heard offers would be made at the end of THIS week, but I could be wrong.

My daughter auditioned yesterday....She sang first and then was asked to come back in the afternoon to dance, as of today no decisions have been made....GOOD LUCK to all who auditioned!

I know that rehearsal starts on october 20th.

Does anyone know of any further info re: the Oliver audition and final decision calender?
Our 8 year old made it to the first call back, the dance call back, and then another call back during which he sang the Dodger part of I'D DO ANYTHING and told a joke. He was not asked to come back for sides on Wednesday. Is he still in the running for a non-speaking part?
Any info would be appreciated.

I know it's very frustrating to be waiting and waiting and waiting BUT unfortunately that's how this business goes....as of today I haven't heard anything either(but I'm trying not to think about it)

Hopefully we'll hear something by next week.

We have not heard anything either...pins and needles. My son had the opportunity to perform at the WST several years ago and it was an awesome experience. This is my daughter's first time auditioning there and she is really excited.

We got an offer today for Oliver!

@cabbie123, yes we got our she sang beautifully and read great but she's just not right for the part Oh well on to the next audition for us.....Congratulations to everyone who gets cast!

Our pins and needles have turned into excitement and joy! This afternoon DS was offered a part in Fagins Gang/Orphan. I think he stopped jumping up and down a few minutes ago!
