Anyone hear anything about kids chosen to sing The National Anthem @ the US Open this year?

There's another thread on this titled "US Open Casting Call" which stated that calls started last week.

i have also heard of "one" call going out...i have an email in to the actual casting company for this info...because i never believe what i read unless it comes directly from casting or my childrens' agent..the company is star flow entertainment you can easily google them and there is an email address to contact them on. If i get a response i will post it here.

I know for a fact that a 9 year old girl from the tri state area was chosen for this. She was told that she is one of the 15 chosen. She was called on Friday and received her confirmation letter today. WOOHOOO!!! Im so SUPER excited for her!!

I just heard that a friend's dd was called! She is also 9 so it may be the same kid. It is so exciting for them. Are they using more than one girl?

that is great!!! i guess my dd wasnt considered as i am sure if they called one they called them all...congrats to whoever got this!!!!
