Someone just posted on another board that callbacks are supposed to be in the middle of next month.

can u supply the link to the board with more '13' info on callbacks? thanks

I wouldn't say it doesn't make sense to get a same day callback. This has happened to my daughter a few times. You audition, then they ask you to come back in a couple of hours or later that day. They want to take a second look.

Lalita, I am talking specifically for 13 and a few other auditions we've been too. I know kids who went to 2 auditions before everyone else. Each level increased the number of people there.

Judy C, there is no link. This was told to us specifically by the monitor at the 13 auditions as a few kids couldn't make it due to illness, so he said not to worry that there would be more auditions but he just didn't have the dates yet. You can call the casting office for more info!

Some of my friends are going in this week after sending their pictures. I heard there are also callbacks. Did any of you girls get called back? I now some boys have.

I know one girl that when to the Goodspeed everything open call, not specifically for 13, but just for Goodspeed and she got an email a few days ago asking her to come audition specifically for 13 this Thureday... is this the call back you're talking about newhat?

Well, I know one boy auditioning on Friday, wnd one girl auditioning on Saturday, both for the first time after sending their photos (they weren't from the Goodspeed audition). I guess boys have been called back for this week also.

We also have friends, 1 girl, 1 boy who are coming in from out of town -- they sent in photo and were called, just initial auditions -- not "callback". We also have another friend, boy who is going to the "callback" for the lead next week. He was told that they are casting the lead boy next week and the other "callback (as needed) are in March....pretty consistant with all the other posts.

My dd went in this week as an agent appointment. She sang her pop song and then they asked her to sing another song. That was it, no mention of callbacks etc. Has anyone else heard of similar situations with agent appointments? Thanks.

I think from what I've heard, all the agent app't kids got to sing 2 songs, but the kids at the open call, although they were prepared with 2 songs, only got to sing one. One gal did ask to sing her second choice song first, but they wouldn't let her.

On JRB's board, it almost sounds like kids are congratulating the kids in the reading as having been cast in the CT show. Very strange. One post seemed to indicate this. One of the girls in the reading, has a lot of posts on youtube, and one of her friends posted a comment that she was goign to be in a Broadway show.

Just to confirm what Semaj said... my DD went in on Thurs for an agent audition; she also sang 2 songs for them. While we were there, there was another girl and 2 boys going in for auditions. I know a boy who had a CB for the lead on Friday. Don't know about any additional CBs for the girls.

"Alongfortheride", when you were there, did each kid do 2 songs? My dd said that the girl and the boy who went before her were in and out and only sang one song.

Semaj, My daughter's appointment was at 3:45. There was one other girl at that time. I can only speak for my daughter-- she sang 2 songs. Don't know how many the other girl and the 2 boys sang. Wish I did... definitely not sitting close enough to the audition room to hear them, and I didn't ask any questions.

Along, actually I wasn't right there, but my dd told me that is what it seemed like....Do you know of any girls at the Agent Appointments that were told they would be called back?

My dd went Saturday, do you guys know if Mark Simon was in on all the agent appointments. I don't know what he looks like and neither does my dd....

The number of songs that you sing doesn't matter if you do not get asked back.....both of the boys that have been invited back from our group were stopped after one song. We are still hoping for girls to be called at a later date.
