Go ahead and tell about your case of "bad auditions"

I just had one earlier today. I had an audition at 3:45PM, I got ready and left at 3:00 because it was a 20 minute drive away. I punch it in my portable GPS, it couldn't connect to the satellite, I reset it and click the most recent location I put in. I drive away, get stuck in light traffic, GPS estimates that I'll get there at 3:50! WHAT?! I drive fast, get there at 3:45, and guess what? I'm at the WRONG location! I drove to my previous audition destination! I yell in my car, call the CD who is busy with auditions, leave a message saying "I'm sorry for missing the time, blah blah, if you can reschedule that'll be great, if not hope your project goes well". Then heavy traffic on the way back. Yay...

Thomas Guide is also your friend! I always carry one just in case my GPS goes out to lunch when I really need it!
