Hi, everyone. Though I've gone to a few open calls for films, on Wednesday, I had my very first film audition through my agent. Since it was my first, I don't know what to expect... or if to expect anything.

When I was signing in, the sheet said that it would shoot at the end of this month. Am I right to think that things will be happening extremely quickly this month if they're to happen at all for me?

I felt the audtion went pretty well. I was pretty nervous- I've had a lot of theatre roles, but never a speaking film role. The casting director was very nice and even took me early (the audition was two hours from my house and we were lucky not hit any traffic). I read three scenes, which were filmed. I was very comfortable with the scenes and had a lot of fun.
I am obviously hoping to get a callback, though I think I look young for the role (I look younger than my age).

I guess I'd just like to know how fast this might happen. As it's shooting soon, I don't think I got a callback, but I like to remain optimistic.

If they are shooting at the end of the month, things could happen very quickly. Callbacks would be within days. There might be 2 or 3 callbacks. Depending on the size of the role, the director may be in one or more of the callbacks. If you book, you (your parents and your agent) would go in to the deal making and contract phase. This can take a few days to several weeks, again, depending upon how big the role is, and how much deal-making clout your agent and the producers each have. Good luck.
