Hello everyone! I live in Chicago. performink.com is the website that posts local auditions and of course they have them section outfor equity, non-equity and so on. I found this audition notice in the Equity section yesterday MADISON SQUARE GARDEN Entertainment auditions in Chicago on May 13-15, for Rockettes, male and female dancers, vocalists, singers who dance well and Children for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, which is returning to Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre this Christmas season. Performers will also be considered for other 2008 productions including in New York (at Radio City Music Hall), Buffalo, Cleveland, Nashville, and St. Louis. Auditions are at the Civic Opera House at 20 North Wacker Dr. For more information, visit radiocityauditions.com or call our Radio City Audition hotline 212/485-7399 and see our ad in this issue. AGVA contract. I don't have Equity but I would really like to audition for this. While it was in the Equity section there are a few things to take note of that give me reason to believe I can audition anyway. To my understanding Equity auditions are typically by appointment and these are not. I went to the website and they mentioned nothing about Equity. I called the Hotline and no mention of Equity. As of right now my plan is to prepare and go try. Does anyone have any advice or previous experience with this show? Any advice on how I should prepare or whether they would even see me?
Kimberly
