Is going to be like the Marmaduke casting? My dd has a friend who is auditioning and she is going through her agent, who by the way is really a big agent. Is this their way of creating PR?

That's awesome Tomster. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth and hope that they are looking for that one undiscovered talent in Podunk (like my daughter) and submit her. But, honestly, the agent of my dd's friend is big, like he's Taylor Momson's agent, big. Like I said, my dd's friend already auditioned for this part, do they not like what they are seeing?

Any word on "Smurfs" auditions / callbacks? Any news? Have any of you who submitted online been contacted by the CD's office? I know for sure that they DO watch all video submissions, and you can even check if your submission had been watched already...

I was going to audition for the part of the older boy but after reading through the sides a couple times I just couldn't take the script seriously. I mean I know it's a children's film but that's no excuse for the contents of that script.
I'm still interested in seeing who does ultimately get cast though.
