Did they say that they would consider her for the future?

Thanks Sassysmom for the info. We have no agent so probably won't hear anything. Funny your daughter being too small at 53" Supermum. I think mine is too tall at 58". Don't know whether you should talk to agent or not -- we were told by one of the former 'Janes' that the height requirement was based on the relative height of 'Michael' and may have some flexibility. What a crazy business!

That sounds right, Sparky about relative height. The prospective Jane that was called back is 58", while the prospective Michael that was just called back is 53", so you definitely need a good spread between the two. My daughter is only 48" so I think we have awhile before they'll even consider auditioning her. Good luck to all who got called back this round!

Mine's 52" and I believe she's too short as well. Hopefully we'll be just right for the next round of auditions, at which point we will have signed with our manager as well.

They called in the kids they are interested in no matter how tall/small. Taller for now, smaller for later.

My agent said above 58 is too tall for Jane.

My d did not get a call back either, but what a great experience! We'll go back to AZ and audition there and wait for another opportunity. Thank you to all here, I don't know why they call it Two Cents, you are all much more valuable to us then that! Break a Leg to all with call backs!

they told my daughers agent that they want to see her again but not for this callback. She is too small yet for the part and needs to work on the depth of her character but are having agent calls again when the contracts are up(around june)thats the thing about having a wonderful agent..they get feedback !

Heard there was a workshop callback for Mary Poppins today? Did anybody go? How many kids did they call back? Was this the final callback?

Just heard from the agent that recommended my daughter for the audition that she sang well, was adorable, etc. but is in fact too tall. She is now nearly 4'11. Ah, well, on to the next big thing! Good luck to all other callbacks!

The prospective Jane and Michael I know who went to callbacks were also told they were too tall. I don't understand why they wouldn't have flagged that at the initial audition.
