I am new to acting and i am not sure what i will be expecting at auditions, do i read from a script? do i just improvise a scene? do i do a dialougue with a casting person thats there?

what should i expect pleasE?

Could be any or all of the above. Depends on the director. You may also be asked to sing or dance. The person contacting you will usually tell you what to expect, or if it's an open call, you can usually find info/sides, music, etc. at the source.

I am a director in Los Angeles, California, but I have studied Method Acting for years and, in the past, I was an acting coach. It is my belief that through this very intense system, an actor can learn a craft that will allow him or her to bring real truth of emotion to any role or audition.I hope this can help you...
You can "act" and pretend, or you can create truth.
