Anyone hear anything about the Shrek auditions for the two yonger Fionas? This is supposed to start rehearsals in June.

I actually heard the CBs are today and it is between two girls.

I am planning to take my daughter to the Seattle auditions for young Fiona. The audition announcement says - Girls between the ages of 8 and 10 are encouraged to audition. All must have a strong singing voice, acting ability and move well.

Does anyone have a song suggestion? We are obviously new to this - what song would show a strong singing voice?

Are there auditions in Seattle, because the auditions in NY indicated that Young Fiona would be working in Seattle this summer? I didn't think they were going to be auditioning again.

They do have auditions in Seattle. It's on the Theatre Pudget Sound Callboard and the performerscallboard on Yahoo.

The audition is for the 5th Avenue Theater engagement only. Anyone know when Broadway's Young Fiona(s) will be cast?

cbs were today only 5 or 6 girls not sure if more will be called or if they are casting from this...so many different stories as usual.

It was posted on Random Farms website that Marissa O'Donnell who played Annie in the National Tour was cast as Teen Fiona. I don't know if that is the role you are referring to. Alison Horowitz (I think that's her name) who is currently in Sunday in the Park, did the workshop.

Ali was "Young Fiona" in the workshop, and that's the role that there were auditions for this week - but I'm not clear if they're casting for Seattle and/or Broadway - others have posted that they're casting this in Seattle, too.

It's correct that Marissa will be "Teen Fiona" - she will be going to Seattle and then on to the Broadway production.

How exciting! Any word on who they cast for the Young Fiona yet??

Update on SEATTLE young fiona auditions. My daughter was one of 5 from the morning sessions that got a callback. After her group audition they asked her to come back in about an hour. They took the 5 that got called from the morning sessions and taught them the young fiona song and she goes back next week. I don't know how many were called from the afternoon sessions.
