Does Disney typically do NY callbacks soon after the open audition in a city (ATL, Chicago, St. Louis), or do they wait until a certain number of open auditions are finished before scheduling callbacks in NY?

I was wondering this same thing. I was just at Mary Poppins in Chicago this week. You too? I'm curious if anyone else went and if so, if anyone's heard anything yet.

Kinniggets, we weren't in Chicago. My daughter auditioned in ATL in April. They had callbacks a couple of days later - she made all the way through. I understood the next callbacks would be in NY - but we've not heard anything yet, so I'm wondering if we ever will!

We also did the Atlanta Mary Poppins audition and my daughter made it all the way through, too. We did not get a callback yet but we did get a call from Mark Simon Casting for a
"13" audition and they got our info from Jen Rudin at Disney. Leah |

That's fantastic, theatermom! So I guess Jen Rudin was at MP in Atlanta? Eric Woodall was the only one in the room in Chicago, at least for the adult call. Anyway, keep us posted on 13! So exciting!

We were at Chicago Mary Poppins auditions on June 8. A friend got a call from her agent today that they were not interested in her daughter. I haven't heard from our agent. Anyone else hear anything?

It's kind of driving me crazy! Especially since my friend keeps asking me if we've heard anything -- maybe her agent has better connections! Oh well -- trying to put it out of my mind...

Her daughter is with Stewart. It's funny because after the audition when she told the agent that we won't hear anything for months, he said he wouldn't be surprised if they heard by the end of the week. And then he contacted her on that Friday.
I was wondering if maybe they knew from the beginning that they wouldn't be interested in her daughter. But then why waste an agent appointment on her? Oh well, I guess we'll never know. We definitely will be looking at all other opportunities in the meantime! |

Sorry, I'm new and just tried to reply and did it wrong. My child was in the final callback group in Atlanta in April. We were also told the process would take 3-6 months. We have also not heard anything, and I also know of a others who haven't heard anything as well. I agree that it's hard to wait. We are new to this as well and I'll take the advice of Star Mom and just go on with other things and be pleasantly suprised if we hear.

Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone (adults or children) have heard any more from the Mary Poppins tour auditions. Have they called anyone back to NY to audition for the tour? I had a bunch of callbacks in Chicago when they were here and keep hearing rumors of possible callbacks in NYC in August. But I haven't heard any real news... Thanks for any info!
