So if you don't hear back in a week, you probably don't get the job, right? Filming begins "sometime" next week and I auditioned a week ago today.

Somebody please tell me to forget the audition and stop hoping they'll call back!

Dont feel bad! My daughter auditioned for something yesterday and I am already wanting the callback!! LOL

I would say bad news, yes.

Not all hope is lost, things can happen with a production... they can be postponed, casting can take longer then expected. But it isn't a good sign.

I did an audition a couple of months ago for a horror movie being filmed in baltimore. I worked incredibly hard on preparing for it by doing all the proper research on the subject matter, practicing etc. Needless to say I haven't heard anything yet. It happens and it's the tricks of the trade. Don't take it personally, just move on. If your really bummed get together with a buddy and have a beer and tell funny stories of stupid shit you did when you were younger or something. Best of luck. Let me know if i can help in anyway.
