Do any of you use the IMDB Pro to e-mail headshots to casting directors?

Since a lot of them offer e-mails, I decided to try.

I get a great response: "don't think so" from one of them.

Is it bad idea? It is practically like sending out paper headshots and resumes, but electronically? Or is it still a taboo?

I think the response speaks for itself.
