Does anyone know anything about this workshop? Has anyone else been called in for it?

Nope, haven't heard anything about it! Where was the breakdown?

It was on playbill a few weeks ago, I think.

My daughter was called yesterday for an audition. Unfortunately she has her dance recital that night and we're trying to move the time or day so they may just drop her from the audition. Sounds like a great opportunity though so I hope we can work something out!

What ages are they looking for?

I sent in a headshot and resume last week for this, hoping ot get into the Teen Ensemble. No one has replied yet.... I know the auditions are this weekend.. has anyone heard anything?!?!

As I said, my daughter heard the other day and today they called with a new day and time that works for her so we're very excited!

Perhaps you were eliminated because you're from Philadelphia. It's hard enough to hire teens but if you're not "local" (ie - NY metro area) it's that much more difficult.

I submitted DD's headshot and resume a few weeks ago, when it was first listed, and we've heard nothing (and we're pretty local). As with any casting, who knows what they're actually looking for and what submissions they got . . . I'd guess they don't have the time to see everyone, otherwise they'd have an open call . . .

I agree FishMom that you never know why they choose one hs/r over another but in Kasietheactress case being in Philadelphia didn't help.

Are they doing agent appts for this, or you have to submit yourself?

I think the call was for teens, 14-18, for ensemble.

And I think it's only self-submit, as I don't believe there's any pay involved.

I think they said stipend, but I"m not sure how much that would be. Does anyone know what exactly this production is? Like, are we dealing with a workshop in new york or someone singings songs in a living room haha. the listing didn't say much.
