the bigger problem is that they aren't actor headshots. they could MAYBE work as senior portraits or something.
i really think there are too many people out there who take the word "headshot" too literally.
an actor's headshot is more than just a shot of your head.
there have been whole books and websites and businesses devoted just to the actors headshot. if you aren't shooting with an actors headshot photographer, you aren't getting a headshot, but instead a shot of your head. two very different things.

Steph, Your headshots look fine! A couple of weeks ago, I was in a tiny room with a VICE PRESIDENT OF THE CASTING SOCIETY OF AMERICA, and they said that the only requirement is that your headshots look like YOU. That's it. They do not need to be fancy, perfect glamor shots. Good luck to you, and keep your chin up!

I hate dishonesty!
STUPID poses and headtilts, touching your face, and lying on the ground will get you laughed out should you seriously pursue acting.

PLEASE disregard this person's advice (as in actor "helper")
Dude, are you actor HELPER or actor HURTER!?! (Truth baby- that was MY line first! Nice edit there) But you are right in that they don't need to be perfect, glamor shots but they DO need to be flattering and suitable industry standard which these are NOT. Plese don't try to "help" anyone else- your advice is frightening.
Honey, the others are right. These are no good. Sorry.

I'm new to these boards but as a person who works on the other side of the camera I think numbers 4 and 5 of the shots you're displaying are likely your best. I absolutely do not like the main photo that you're using (the one with the flower in your hair). Just an honest opinion.
Yeah, I definitely agree that none of these look like professional headshots of a serious actor. You're very pretty, and need to find a good headshot photographer. Definitely get rid of the middle one--the overexposed snapshot, and the one with the flower in your hair. The best one of the 3 is the last one, even though it has the great faux pas of having your hand on your chin! If you're going for modeling, that would seem to be the best one. If you're gong for acting, I'd get some new shots asap!
All the best with everything!
