Hello-

I will be in Troy Michigan around the end of June and was wondering if anyone knows of any good headshot photographers in the area. I'm looking to get into editorial/high fashion, commercial modeling and also acting.

Any help is appreciated - I'm new to the board so if I've missed this info somewhere, please bear with me :-)

I don't think you're going to get an overwhelming response on this one.

You can try checking with the local talent/modeling agencies in your area for their personal recommendations.

You might want to try the local actors in your area, they might know of one.

Got this from a Michigan friend. Hope it helps. Supposedly, she is not cheap, but is the best in the area.

Both do a lot of fashion/advertising....I've had friends that have used them for headshots, but since none of them act in large markets I can't attest to their "usability" here in NYC. Sam's stuff reminds me a lot of Fadil Barish.

I worked with Jun on a project before I moved here, he's a RIOT! He knows what HE wants and how to get it...while I had a great time at the shoot, because I didnt fully understand what I needed, I didnt know what direction I should have taken from him and what I shouldnt have. I think if you know how to work with him, you'll get a great session.

As I tell everyone when "shopping" for photographers, work with someone that will work with you!

Maybe Robert or one of the other photogs can add their two cents, b/c I'm no expert just thought I'd throw two other hats into the ring.!
