I don't like it.

1. You look naked in it.

2. Too many rogue hairs.

Thank you for your opinion. Smiler

But no I was not naked lol.

Also, this is my modeling compcard which sometimes tends to be different than a headshot for acting.
I am going to speak to my agency to see if I need to go about getting glossies made or what they feel needs to be done.

I see nothing wrong with this headshot.

Fashion/print headshots are totally different from acting headshots. Ever see a typical fragrance ad? Half the time both models are as naked as jaybirds, completely nude.

Any of the problems mentioned with this photo can easily be fixed in Photoshop.

Thank you both Smiler

I did talk to my agency about getting a different headshot for more along the lines of acting instead of the modeling and they agree. They mentioned something about doing an internal headshot, does anyone know what that may mean?

I've never heard that term used in a headshot context before.

But I would imagine that they meant a shot that was more internally directed, as opposed to strictly on a visual, surface level. Something with a little more inner emotional life going on.

^ Thank you. That was somewhat I was thinking too but I was not sure.
I contacted my agency about it, but have yet to hear back from "my rep" about it.

Thank you once again everyone.

It's a beautiful shot, and you will get calls on this! Your eyes are very present, the make-up is great, I would only do some Photoshop work to get rid of the stray hairs. It's a bit distracting for what otherwise is a lovely beauty shot. Obviously, this one is for modeling: an acting shot would require a very different approach. More expression, a real engagement with the camera and yes - probably a bit of clothing around the shoulders!

Good luck,

My guess, since it's not a common industry term that anyone here knows, is that "internal" means not third party. Maybe the agency wants to take it. I appeared on a show where amateurs performed and the show took head shots themselves. Maybe that's internal.

Or it could be that the color of your skin is a little off and they want to check your liver.

For those talking about the hair:
I think this looked was supposed to be the "i just had sex" look, and it works...

I like it.
For an acting headshot it would be terrible, but for modeling its good.

Pretty eyes.
