I apologize, I think I posted my original post in a less suitable place. However, to prevent from double posting, I put up some recent headshots with some questions about your opinion on how I should represent myself (type, age range, etc). Please visit this thread:
ok. But besides that, any comments for the real purpose of this post? How old would you think I was based off the pics alone? Type? The pics do look like me... I mean that's what I look like, so I'm just trying to figure out the best way to sell "me".

These headshots are hard to read. You are a beautiful young woman and, working with the right photographer, I think you new pics will really shine. Are you an early twenties who can play younger? If so - your clothes and makeup age you. The hairstyle (growing bangs out?) isn't flattering. Again, you're very beautiful, get a good hairdresser and you'll be golden. If you must use these shots, a better crop with less body will help put the focus on your eyes. Are you mid twenties, to play a young professional? Again, the clothes are not doing you any help. Their dullness is distracting. Your type is the 'wholesome friend'. Younger clothes and hairstyle would open up more types for you. Also, consider going A BIT sexier. You have the face and body to add sex appeal, without going overboard. It would make you more interesting.

many types. You could be anything from dorky girl to hot chick so I would say you have a very wide market overall. Just give every look a shot and see what the casting agents lean toward.
You need new headshots. You will have a very discouraging experience if you try to shop yourself around here with these. Do it right the first time and you will get a good momentum going.
I think you look 26-33. I would guess your real age to be between 28-30. I'm guessing you to be significantly older than the others so far have, so if you are actually younger than this, it may be the clothes and especially the makeup that age you. The dark lip color and heavy eyeliner suggest age to me, and the outfit in the second photo looks a little dowdy. That may also have to do with these shots being geared more toward theater. I'm not an expert, though, just another actor, so the others may have a more accurate view. In terms of type, I would see you as... the best friend, a wife, a young mom, a grad student, a nurse, etc. Good luck!

It's better to regret what you've done than what you haven't.

Thanks! Really, thank you. I am early/mid 20s, but most people say I look younger. I get carded when I try to buy alcohol, but I don't get carded for rated R movies anymore (thank goodness).
tuffbusiness: I really like your input about going sexier, although that's hard because I don't really see myself as "Sexy" (hence the need for a stranger's opinion). As far as clothing, could you offer some specifics? If I were to do several outfits, what could I wear to showcase myself in the youth department that wouldn't be dull? What about to be a young professional? I didn't want to pidgeon hole myself, I guess that's why I went so basic.
Hollywood: Excellent point about doing several looks. I didn't do that this time around, obviously
Olivia: Wow... would you recommend always having a professional makeup artist? I was under the impression that you should look like you, and this is usually what my everyday makeup looks like. Very basic. I don't want to age myself though, as I am not near 28 yet. So if I am coming across that old, that can't be a good thing. How would you suggest I look more my age (outfit/makeup) the next time around?
