Any ideas for colors? Sorry, I'm a newbie at this. An agency told me to either look younger or look matrue because I'm at this "awkward stage", which is kinda confuzzling. Tips please?

Also, I'm 15.

Honestly, I see you as older than 15. I would have guessed eighteen.

I like the yellow on you.

Please be sure to really research before you (or your parents) put money down for anything.

Be safe!!!

First of all:
I hate agents who say stupid sh*t like that. I see 15 year old characters on TV and movies ALL the time. And you in no way look "akward". You are great looking!

Secondly: You are obviously growing up and so you can go for those 16-20 roles (late teens) now. That's more fun than the early teens anyhow!

They both look like they focus on fashion, so I don't think that be a good choice for headshots.

I would agree.

As far as the agency telling you to look younger - there is a reason for that.

This TEENS GETTING STARTED thread by MOMINBIZ will explain a lot:

Good luck!

You've got a great look and a good headshot photographer will help you get great shots. I would only suggest you shy away from some of the awkward poses in the shots you posted above. A simple pose where you are connecting with the viewer will work out great for you.

Good luck,

Ron

I have been in three photoshoots.

If your going for headshots. they are mainly focusing of your face.

wear little make-up..keep it natural. no big earings. studs are good. you want to show your facial features.

have one smiling..one natural..one with some profile

try to make every picture different so you have different looks and more opportunities.
good luck =]

How do you know what colors to wear or which photographer is best?

Compare and contrast which photographer you want, look at who their clients are, friendliness, professionalism, very clear and not ambiguous. Be realistic about price, can't expect to buy Rome for $1, but you wouldn't buy air for $1,000,000.

check out these guys, these are professionals. See if your photographer reaches this level, or is closest one at that.

Yellows best on you based on the pictures. I think you would look best in pastels.

Since you are on the West Coast, I would actually suggest David Muller. I am liking his stuff a lot lately.

Or Dennis Kwan too.
