First post in this forum; thanks to so many posters here for the helpful suggestions and thoughts I've read over the past couple of weeks.

Now to my question:

I'm an actor, 41 years old, coming back into the business after about a 15 year hiatus, and I've been researching photographers. My budget is quite limited, but generally speaking, I'm looking at the $300-500 range.

The world of headshots have changed pretty dramatically since I last had some done... I'm a bit intimidated, to be honest.

From what I've seen, though I would love to be able to afford the amazing Dennis Kwan or Robert Kim (really, just about the best work I've ever seen...) I found Mark Rubin's site and have been so very impressed by the eyes of all of the actors in his work.

I'm just writing to inquire if anyone has worked with him and if you could share your experiences.
