I have noticed in the last few years that one of my eyes appears a bit lazy when photographed. The last set of pictures i took i realized that the eye that appears larger seems to react to the flash of the camera more than the other (like it opens up more when a flash goes off) I'm up for some headshots soon, and I'm concerned about this uneven eye thing. Will the photographer be able to work with this? Not all of my pics end up coming out like this, but a lot do. I'm posting a picture with the worst occurrence of this. Any thoughts on how bad it looks and what i should do are appreciated.

It's the rare person who has a perfectly proportioned set of features ... and it's the imperfections in a face that make it interesting!

That being said, I do see what you are talking about. There's no way to eliminate this in all of your pictures (without photoshopping -- which, by the way is an option), but there are angle choices your photographer can use to diminish or eliminate this problem.

Good luck!

Best,

Ron

Thanks for the input. It really is annoying to me because it's something that seems to have happened over the years. I think I'm super self conscious about it, because in person, it's unnoticeable to my understanding. In fact, people always comment on my eyes and how nice they are...so odd.

A friend of mine also has a lazy eye.

If you shoot with a good photographer, it won't matter so much, as he or she will still get you good shots.

Just those who shoot machine gun style will possibly mess up, as they have no control over the exact moment when a shot is taken.
