Would these be suitable to mail out to agents when i dont have one yet? Since i've heard they usually make you take new ones, i can't really afford another $300 to get new ones taken. my olds ones are the first two, are they usuable? or should i stick with my new snapshots? They can be cropped too

OLD headshots

New snapshots/modeling

I don't believe your newer shots are usable as headshots--even if cropped. The top two look more appropriate and pro.

The snapshots are fun, but not quite right for the industry standard. Until you're able to afford it, I would stick to the old ones.

But when you can, I do recommend updating your shots. They don't clearly show the personality and character you exhibit in the newer photos.

So the two up top still look like me?

I think the new ones are way too modelly and not usable, quite honestly. If I HAD to pick one, I would say the second one from the top. But even that one is too much at an angle and doesn't really show your face correctly. Get new ones ASAP. Maybe hold off to mail out to agents until you have better ones. That is where I am at right now....

I would say no. if you are serious about acting in LA, then you need to spend some cash and look at the best photographers. check out david zaugh, peter konerko, paul smith, michael dambrosia, dana patrick. they are probably the best for the price in LA.

A little pose-y, which is modeling but I like the second one. Pretty.

NONE of these photos are good headshots. Your first two don't give a good representation of what you really looks like because your body is twisted where you're leading with a shoulder. All of the other ones are too model-y.

Eldorado59 is right on. And your look has changed, so I would wait until you get new headshots before submitting to agents.
