Hello,

If anyone can recommend photographers for headshots in the DC metro it would be appreciated. I wanted a couple of names this way I can speak with them, see their work, and see which one clicks with me.

Thanks

My strongest recommendation for a good headshot photographer is to get on the Amtrak and take it until you hit NYC.

I was not being factitious with my advice.

I have been receiving a dramatic increase in business from the D.C., Baltimore, Virginia and adjoining areas.

You may find purchasing that train ticket I mentioned a more viable option the more you begin to weigh your possibities.

Robert is correct.

I consistently get clients coming into the City from D.C., Baltimore and Virginia.

Americangirl if you can find out Amy's information that would be great!

Robert and Rob I will definately keep my options open. A trip to New York might be in the cards after I do a bit more searching for a local photographer.

Thanks All!

her name is amy jones. but i just found her website, and lord, i would NOT shoot with her. i dont know if her site is outdated, or what, but she used to be the top (at least back in the late 90s! hehe). looking at her work, i was not at all impressed. but while trying to find her, i did find one lady named kristina sherk. check her out! i liked her stuff. not bad for the DC area.

there was a lady i did a shoot with in richmond, va, but i can't remember her name at all (marilynne or something close). i liked her shots, i think, and she did hair and makeup as part of the package. i'm sure i can find her info somwhere, but i'd check out this kristina lady. i don't know her at all, but pretty decent work for the area!

of course, if you mostly work in NYC or something, get NYC headshots. if you are based in DC and primarily work in DC,these may be good foryou.

Did you just hear this post, SLM44?? It was the sound of the door to your options closing.

You may find that the road to new possibilities are actually two shiny tracks...
