Since I am just starting out..I have a few questions.
I cannot list training until it has been completed? Or can I list it as 'current' on my resume?
If I auditioned for a local play, no pay, but got a role-- Does this count as some form of credit? Or can I list it somewhere on my resume? And if so, What information do I need to list in regards?
I'm sure I'll think of more ?s later
Thanks in advance!

If you have a role in a play, that IS a credit. It goes under "Theatre." Acting resumes are done in three-column format. For a play, the first column would be the name of the play, second column is the role you played, and third column is the theatre where the production was held.
However, there's one thing on that sample that should NOT be done, and that's including your home address and phone number. Just put a cell phone number where you can be reached. No address or home number.

That's good advice too! To use the search function, click on the "Find" button (in the row of red buttons above your post). Type in the subject you're interested in, and make sure to UNCHECK the box that says "current forum only."
Pretty much any newbie question you have has been answered here before, so it's easier if you just use "Find" to get the answers.

There are also other inconsistencies to this sample resume format and I would not suggest using it as a good reference, when there are better ones by well-known professionals to refer to. Examples are the film and TV categories both have mixed billing also using character names. Character names are only used under theatre. Also, you should not list your individual credits under the commercial category. They may be interpreted by a casting director as a conflict, which could lead to the actor losing an opportunity for an audition. Check the resume formats thread for appropriate billing.
And to add to this, this sample resume page also suggests using only 1 staple in a corner. You need at least 1 centered on top and 1 centered on the bottom, or 2 on top (1 in each corner) and 1 centered on the bottom, or even all 4 corners if you so desire. It really doesn't matter. But, only 1 is not a good idea, due to the page not flipping over easily without the paper flapping about or becoming easily torn off from the 1 corner.
