Hello, I've had these headshots done a while ago.

These images are not retouched yet or anything, they will be brightened, corrected so everything is clear and crisp with lighting ect.

please let me know out of the 2 which one is the best in your opinion for Theatrical.

like to take a poll here.

thanks

Neither. Do you have more?

The first one you blend into the background. You can barely see you.

The second one is too posed, with the hand in the way and such. And you are again blending into the background.

I get so frustrated with "photographers" out there. WHY do they out their subjects in front of a background that matches their clothing so they blend in and don't stand out, I will never know.

You have a great, very castable look but your photographer did you no favors with these shots.

So sorry.

he will brighten the black photo so that i separate distinctly in the background.

He is a very well respected photographer who has let me know he was going to take some risk with me as we had a lot of fun doing the shoot together.

Mabey its time for a new headshot?
any other opinions?

please consider they will be changed before printed so everything will look much better.

thanks for your imput miss stone(:

Out of the two I personally think the first photo is a much more flattering photo of you. The pose in the second photo makes me think you're auditioning for an "adult film," to be honest. Your pose and expression in the first one are much more inviting in a good way. Smiler

I think the first photo is useable once the photo is adjusted so you don't blend in. The light on your face is nice.

I agree about the second photo....the white on white and the pose both don't work for me.

You can only do so much to separate yourself from the black background. If you lighten the black too much it will look grainy when you print it.
