Hi, I'm just starting out my acting career and I wanted to know where I could get quality headshots for less than $200? I'm short on cash, but I really want pictures that will make me look my best.

Also, if I don't have any now and want to audition, is it appropriate to just create my own 8x10? The audition is this week, but I don't have headshots.

In my career as an independent film director, I don't think I've ever called someone in based on a picture that looked non-professional.

Me and my boyfriend were both very happy with our headshots and we paid only $99 each. Rod Goodman was the photographer he's in NYC. He does a special on Mondays, its only 30 minutes, one look and about 60-100 pics and then one print touched up and on a CD. So if you need more looks this may not work for you but all we needed was one, my bf was just starting out and didn't want to spend much and I had just had a haircut I didnt want for a film so I didn't want to spend much since I plan on growing it back out. So this worked out perfect for us! I would definitly recomend him, very professional and nice to work with and great pics for a great price!

oh and another note...I would bring at least some pic so they can remember you, maybe just a snap shot or something. Make sure your name and contact info is on it.
