His hair was done, but he was running around and just enjoying himself, so his hair was bound to get ruined.
I guess what my concern is, would agents/casting directors call him based on these photos. I am just hoping that he could at least land one gig so he can get better photos.

I agree with Robert's criticisms of these photos. But, with toddlers, a snapshot is very often all that is needed to interest an agent. They understand that toddler's looks change monthly and updating with professional shots can be cost prohibitive.
Why don't you see what you can come up by yourself, or a talented friend, and repost for comments?
Well this is the outfit that they chose for him. I didn't object since I am still starting to get him into this business. I figured they knew best. Apparently, they were wrong. But still, he had fun - as you can tell.

Who chose the outfit? Where did you get them taken? How much did you pay? Some agencies specifically ask that you submit snapshots, not professional photos, of this age child. He does look like such a happy kid, but I wouldn't submit these photos.

A marketing company???? What is the name of the company?? And why are they taking "headshots" for you???
When I looked at his photos, my very first thought was that he looks like a little old man in the pictures. Then I looked at just his face and found him to be very cute but the hair is a mess.
I think with a toddler, you just have to dress him age-appropriate and don't try to "style" his hair. Just make him look like what he is: a toddler. And you don't need professional pics. Just take a few snaps with your digital camera and submit those to legitimate agencies and managers.

That's a good question. I would like to know what the deal with that "marketing company" is too.

Don't shoot me now! But, before I found this forum, the pictures were done. But you know better, you do better.
We went with Interface because my friend suggested it. Her son has actually been called for auditions and he is also with Interface. We're still going to see what they have to offer. And if nothing comes out of it, well - at least we learned. =/

Yikes! I wish you would have come here before shelling out your hard earned cash to an operation like Interface.... (and if you're in NYC, why would you deal with a CT company?)
At this point, the best you can do is to take some snapshots of him looking cute/happy and send them out to legitimate agencies/managers and hope for the best. AND DON'T PAY ANYONE A DIME FOR ANYTHING UP FRONT!!! A legit manager/agent gets paid ONLY when your child works!!!!! And legit managers/agencies don't have on-site photographers, classes, make up people, etc.
