First off at school,, I attend the Lee Strasberg institute and we have many teachers who are named actors who teach and or come in for chats. as well as casting directors come by to keep us all up to date.. and just about every new current website talking about headshots that is recent is stating that casting directors are actually prefering a thee quarter shot rather than head shots these days. Mostly in New York and La..
i put one website as a reference but the same quote about 3/4 shots are on most websites talking about headshots..
Once I tell my photogapher which photos to print he will provide the edited digital image as well as the headshots that were orderd..
if you cant make a decision based on what you see here by imagining the final product on paper as well as thumbnail which will be provided once chosen. since so much is done by using both, let me know..im not really hear to get into a debate over whats right or not as i do my research..i just need honest opinions of which photos strike most interest at first glance...thanks again for all who are giving there simple imput.

I understand because I too have headshots that are new and haven't been retouched yet, its too expensive. You have to pick what you like first before you go and edit and retouch. You should go with # 1 on the first set and # 1 on the second set.
All editing issues aside, it's a toss up on the 1st and 2nd for the theatrical look, I think they're both very strong. For the commercial, I think you look too uncomfortable with your arms crossed. Just doesn't look natural for you, so I'm going with the third.
Of your legit shots, I think that you should use the 2nd picture. I think that you get lost in the pictures where you're wearing black and you're in front of the black background. You look very good in the picture where you have on the white shirt, in front of the white background.
Of your commercial shots, I think that you should use the 2nd picture. That's a good, clean shot. It's always good to show some teeth when you're smiling in a commercial shot. I think that one is the commercial shot that you should use.
