Crop all of these and then get back to us. The black ones are too dark.

Theatrical: The 2nd shot. The softer lighting is great. Also like the first shot, as long as it can be cropped. 3rd shot is a bit stark, and taken from too far away.

Commercial: The 1st shot. 2nd is too goofy, unless you're really going for roles that suit that look. 3rd isn't bad either.

Thanks for your help(:,,, the shots are proofs,,,keep in mind they will look totally different once the pictures are edited and printed by the photographer.

Then why don't you show us the edited ones? You can't use fully body ones when everything is digital-thumbnails.

the dark ones are too dark and the white is too white! You blend in with the background. The ones where you're smiling show more personality. You're eyes look great, they are engaging, but how do you want to market yourself? Overall, they're nice photo's, but I'd like to see the end product too see if they're nice headshots.

I dont think you understand,,these were sent to me to be chosen,,once i tell him which pictures i want he makes the final edits to them.. so in that case when i choose the photos..i will get the 8x10 final product as well as the edited photo..

I cant afford to have him make edits and final touches to every photo becasue he only does that before hand when chosen to be printed,, In that case use your imagination and see which ones are ok, if they were edited down to fix the issues..
thanks for your advice but its not possible to get each of 120 proofs edited when i am only ending off with 2 final photos..
