I was advised by my former agent to get these 5 looks, and I have the CD of all the shots. I just need some feedback on which one looks the most natural, and what might look better in the shot. I have 100's of each pose, so I am bound to find something good if the ones I post are missing that certain something. Thanks for your feedback. Oh and BTW these were originally supposed to be commercial headshots.

Whatever your photographer did "right" with these photos was totally ruined by your hair style.
Your hair is so dated (Beatle era to early 70's) that it completely overshadowed all of your other great qualities. The last time I saw hair like this I was playing drums in a rock and roll band.
Get it off your face and you'll have more work than you can handle.
So basically the hair is so distracting, the look of the headshot is lost? What do I do if all my shots have this "hair"? I guess its time to save up again for new ones.

But this is just my opinion. No one is forcing you to take it or even agree with it.
I always have a sit-down with all my new clients before any principal photography begins. This is when we completely map out what we plan to acheive in the session -- from hair, to wardrobe, to what the client's personal objectives and goals are.
After the shoot is too late to make any changes. That's why this meeting is so vitally important.
But remember: My comments are based strictly upon my personal taste and experience. I am quite sure that there are several on this board who would sharply disagree with me and tell you that your hair looks perfect just the way it is. But my aim here is to be totally honest -- brutally at times -- but with always your best interests at heart.
You're a good looking man, and I know you can handle criticism. You need to re-think your hairstyle if you wish to remain competitive.
Well, I'm in no way a professional, but I'm agreed about the hair... the look seems too moppish and soft for a guy with a strong, angular face shape like you have (I mean that in a good way). The only pic it works for me in is the one with the black glasses, mostly because your expression obscures the shape of your face and doesn't make it fight the style of your hair. I really like the shot... it's fun and quirky and would make me want to call you in if I was a theatrical director casting specifically for the "Cute-Nerd-Who-Magically-Becomes-The-Love-Interest" sort of role... but I don't know how much commercial work you'd get out of it. Good luck to you!

I'm not to keen on the hairstyle either but working with the choices you have, I do like the last three shots. Totally ruled out the first shot because of the hair.
Good luck.

You know, I like the hair. I think it suits you, but maybe it's the sideburns that are a bit much. I don't know much about photo editing, but perhaps they can be erased or toned down a bit. I think the hair gives you a hip, edgy look. JMHO.

I like the hair too - it's very "now," I see guys with hair like this all the time. Very hipster look.
I am reluctant about the photo with the dark-framed glasses. They look like they might not have lenses or something. I know you were going for the cute nerd look, but they were a little prop-like for me. Maybe there's a shot with them with your head a different angle so we can see they're indeed real glasses? Or maybe it's just me, but that photo distracted me from you and I looked at the accessories instead.
After looking closer I totally agree about the sideburns, and also it appears by the pictures you provided, that my hair wasn't as "coiffed"(I believe thats the word) as it should have been. Also both pairs of glasses had the glass taken out of them at the photographer's request. Thanks for all your replies and suggestions. I must now figure out whether to touch up or maybe get some new shots.

You look like Mr Bently from the TV Show, The Jeffersons.
aside from the hairsytle, I say the framing of the shot is too low... too much of the head is cropped off for no real reason, and too much of the clothing is showing for no reason. About half the photo real estate is clothing, note the black shirt shot, too much shirt for no reason. If you crop to a medium format type square photo, you can salvage a few shots but for a 2:3 ratio photo I think these pics are lost as you really need another inch of two of head to have a nice 2:3 ratio headshot.
