the site makes you register. you should either post a few of your favorites here directly on the board or put them up on a site like photobucket. i doubt many would be willing to give our email address to some guy who randomly requires it to look at his portfolio. i don't want him emailing me or collecting my data in that way.

I put in a total gibberish email address and it worked. They maybe collecting emails, but there's going to be at least one nonsense one!
I can't say I know much about the market in Georgia, however the photography is failing you in these shots. You have a very unique and adorable look, but that's overshadowed by several things in these shots.
1.) The graffiti on the wall behind you is distracting for headshots
2.) The outdoor lighting is washing your face out
3.) The wind is making a mess of your hair
4.) Some of the angles are very extreme....they are shooting down on you with an extremely shallow depth of field so that your body is out of focus (You can get away with that for a real character shot at times, but it was a bit much.
Some things to consider for your next shoot.
And, I took Blaney's advice and viewed them with a fake email if anyone else wants to look.
You're shot at such a weird angle in most of your pics that you look like one of those Caricature Cartoon drawings that you can get done at any carnival or birthday party.
On the second page in the white blouse, you're making a lot of really stupid faces. Some look like you're strung out on heroin or something. So be more natural and less wild with the expressions.
And I'm more interested what the graffiti says that you. So if you ask for a reshoot, tell him or her NOT to shoot you in front of a graffitied wat.

Cassandra, I never post in this thread, but my 10 yr old daughter had some interesting insights that I had to share. Now, this is not intended to be rude, but rather, it is constructive critique from a very observant 10-yr-old. She was sitting across the room and saw your photo in the last post. She asked if that was supposed to be a headshot and if so, wondered if you were going to be looking for work as a bartender. So, I would venture to say that this shot should not be used as a headshot. She also said that you are very pretty and suggested that you get some better headshots. I think she offers great insight and advice here. She also said she does not intend to offend you...she just wants to help.

kipmil. that is not a headshot. i asked why those kind of shots dont work or do they. My headshots are in the link..... And I really don't see a 10 year old saying something like that, why would that picture be something for a bartender, I get work as a model. That is a modeling picture that I cropped. I just wondered why it wouldnt work, if its the make up or what, and posted it.

The reason modeling shots don't work as headshots is that modeling shots are meant to be glamorous, while headshots are meant to look natural.
The headshots that you posted look like snapshots to me - they don't look professional (i.e. the squinting, the lighting, the graffiti). I agree with the posters who suggested you look for a photographer who specializes in headshots.

That photo fails as a headshot or any kind of photo used for film/tv/commercials because: 1. You're wearing makeup that would suggest something sexy and not how you would look on a regular weekday. Your headshots need to look like how you would look on a regular basis. NOT how you would look if you were being sexy going clubbing or being a bartender at some hip club.
2. You're posed!
