My daughters agent selected a headshot with her wearing a hat is that ok? I've since heard that you shouldnt have a hat on. She is 11 and I spent a fortune having it reproduced.

NEVER wear a hat.

The sole exception would be as a single look in a multiple-look comp card or on rare occasion, a character look.

But certainly never as your primary headshot.

It is distracting, and conceals too much of the head and hair.
