This weekend I am going down to downtown Philly for an Disney audition. But the problem is this is my first audition and I have no clue what to expect. They said I would read a part of a script in front of a camera then I would have a one on one interview, like a buissness interview. Is there any tips or advice you guys could give me? Please and Thank-you.

Sparkling - LOVE the name!

Everyone here is happy to help you. First, could you tell us how you heard about this audition? Many people on the board have worked with Disney before and auditions differ depending on their focus.

In general, you will get more answers about kids auditions by posting on the Child and Teen Actors forum.

There are many organizations that use the Disney name to lure children and their parents into taking SCAM acting classes.
If you let us know how you heard about this audition, we can make sure that you are on the right track.

I have a strong suspicion that this is probably Academy of Cinema and TV. It isn't a "Disney" audition, but they sure make it appear that way. It is really a sales event - leading up to the purchase of classes.

I think the good thing to remember about auditions is that they are not personal. Whether or not you get the role has to do with whether you are in line with what the casting director envisioned, and little to do with how great your performance was. That said, you can always take an audition class so that you feel more confident about it. It can also be a good idea to do some physical warm ups before hand so that you aren't tense.

It's better to regret what you've done than what you haven't.
