Do you guys include a personal note with your head shot? Just something like "I look foward to hearing from you!" or "thanks for taking the time to look this over!" Or is it simply your picture with resume stapled to the back?

just curious.

but i mean when i'm mass mailing casting agents, need a cover letter for that too??

Yes, particularly when submitting for a specific role.

If you want, you can put a simple note saying the name of the character you are submitting for.

A long note is tedious and unnecessary.
