Oh my god! I am so on cloud nine that you are here on this forum. I saw your work a while back, perhaps around the first week in January, and I just fell in love with your photos. I was saying to myself, “this will definitely be the first guy I see about headshots!” I can see that you have the whole package, with nothing less than perfection. I saw other good photographers, but they did not have the look that I wanted. You are also young too, and I realize that youth has a lot to offer like giving the edgiest images. Anyways, I have one image in mind (I will not be heading to get headshots until 2011; have to wait till graduation; then head over to Hollywood), but it is like a supercharge sex image. What do you think is like the best way to look like a sex object, but at the same time professional? This is obviously would be roles for leading sexy roles- femme fatales, sexy women, seductive.. I was thinking dark eyelids, pale lip-gloss, tan skin, and long platinum blonde hair with a very sexy outfit *that still looks somewhat professional, but more aiming at glamorous and seductive**. Would you consider this image a very marketable image; since I would need to get casted, not just look like a character image that is hard to get a job.

Then I was thinking of paying the $1,000 for a half day of taking photos (perhaps full day lol), and the benefit of location as well, and then I notice you did not have the same offer for headshots. Lol, but then I was thinking of just arranging something like this in the future and pay for the price, and ask for headshots only. I have tons of images in mind, at least 8 images in general that I can think of right now. Most of them are general, but there a couple specific images to get the juicy roles that I want. Oh and trust me I seen a ton of photographers, so it isn't like I just randomally like you. I seen at least thirty to forty some photographers on the internet, since I was looking for someone that can give vitality, youth, sex, edgy, professionalism, glamor, any any synonym that goes with perfect (including that word as well). And I saw your videos, and read your blog as well, and the tips around January too. So I basically like your personality from those... lol. Personality is a big factor.. Oh and I love Madonna as well *remember you went to her tour*, I had her quote as a signature a few weeks ago. You would not believe how much Madonna influence me in my life, like she's the third parent of mine. Even had her in my avatar (Justify my Love era), but I changed it, I believe it's floating around in some threads. I also surprisingly have some ties with her in my life, which is bizarre and odd, but I can't reveal them here on open public thread. lol

Kudos to you Bradford! For a while now you have succesfully promoted yourself on this board in an underhanded way with the help of people like Miss Stone who have nothing better to do with their lives than sit here and rip people apart and then give them the solid advice to "Shoot with Bradford", he's the best, I'm going to Him for my next Headshots if he's as nice as I hear he is. Maybe I'm wrong, but if you read these boards regularly maybe Miss Stone will heed your advice on being a little nicer to people. The way that she operates makes me as an actor feel completely adverse to shooting with you....How do I know you're not her in disguise? After all I did a search for her name and within 30 seconds found 5 times that she said "Shoot with Bradford".
Now, you have so generously advertised on the board in a way in which no one can criticize you because of course "your just here to help". No one is going to say "This is Spam"
Why not try what all the other photographer on the board do, which is politely slip into a forum and actually give helpful advice instead of making a grand announcement followed by your fans here falling at your feet like it's the Second Coming.
If people like Miss Stone hadn't so graciously spent hours here promoting you this would have slipped by un-noticed but I'm not letting you get away with what other photographers here can't get away with, which is blatant advertising!
Shame shame!

That's wild! Actually, that Janet Jackson shot was one of my fav's of her of all time, and I remember trying to recreate it back in High School with my pal Meridian. Oh memories ;-) quote: Originally posted by Lonni Delane: Hey Bradford, I remember you critiqued my "bad" headshot for that Backstage article a while back. Janet Jackson circa 1993? Daay-um... that was cold! It was funny though.

OK, let's start off with settling down a bit. This is the VERY FIRST TIME I've ever attempted to login into Backstage, at the recommendation of many clients. I have NO AFFILIATION with "MIss Stone", or anyone else for that matter who regularly posts on this message board. I also agree that harsh critiques are uncalled for, and I never do it. I enjoying helping actors in anyway I can. I think it's good karma, and if the tables were turned, I'd appreciate any advice another would give to me. Is it possible that there are some actors out there that are enthusiastically promoting me, regardless of having shot with me yet themselves. I receive many recommendations from people who have never used my services, but who follow my work, blog, etc. If you take issue with me, please feel free to call me personally at the number in my signature. I'd be happy to discuss this with you live. Lastly, if you'd like to "slip in", feel free, but that's not my style either. Have a wonderful Sunday :-)> quote: Originally posted by Johnnytheking: Kudos to you Bradford! I am BRADFORD?????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, I also love Sharon Stone movies! By your logic, I must be her too!! FYI fellow posters- I have never even MET Bradford. I just like his work and he is the best example I have ever found to demonstrate what makes a good headshot. There are many people who come here for guidance and referring them to him is doing them a great service. Please don't heed the dribble of someone here who obviously has a beef with me. Peace.

I guess my point is, it seems like all the other photographers are here to help as well. They get involved in the forums without announcing to the entire community that they are doing so.
People here slam photographers like Felle and Michael Roud for anything that seems like blatant advertising. You should be held to the same standard as everyone else.

I have posted here for YEARS without ever having even heard of Bradford or mentioning him. I only heard of him recently. Do a little research why don't you? Yep. You caught me. I played the part of an actor for years before finally revealing my true purpose. Seriously. Get over yourself.

You're right Miss Stone, you're not Bradford...I guess...I mean we'll never know will we? You tear into people like some know it all but would never dare let anyone critique your headshot, just some Mac photo booth distortion of someone, because you're a coward who hides her aggression behind a keyboard. If you're so successful in the BIZ why do you have so much time on your hands to sit on this site all day?
You're telling me that out of all the photographers out there, pointing to ONE photographer over and over, ad nauseum is the best you can do to help people??
