My playing age is 10-12 and yes, I will delete this after I decide. Safety first. :-)

You're comparing apples with oranges, Morgin.

The first picture is for commercials, the bottom, for legit roles.

I would select the bottom one, however, since the exposure/styling is far more pleasing.

In both pictures you look at least 14. I would also choose the second one.

If you use the top one, get it touched up by lightening it.

Personally I am 14 so I know what we look like and you don't look that old. 13 is as old as I would push it. I like the bottom one.

Choose the second one and for a commercial shot i would not use the top one and shoot again as the old saying goes you never get asecond chance to make a first impression.

I have a feeling your doing this to prove a point to the photographer of the first image. The second one is obviously more appealing.

And they are for different applications. The only reason I would choose the first one would be if it were a better match for your skin tone. Also this is really too small of a file size to judge. The bottom pick could have been taken with a 6 megapixel camera with a good lens and look terrible at a larger file size. The top one could have sparkling clarity at 12/18.

There is something weird about this post. I feel like its a trick question. Why would you have two images side by side at thumbnail size with different skin tones and different looks, and then ask which one is better?

bring us bigger photos and tell us which one has a more accurate depiction of skin tone. What sort of work you trying to get?

This poster is so young, she most likely isn't trying to prove a point. It looks like one is a snapshot and one might be a school photo and she's trying to figure out which to use.

Thanks guys! I decided on the second. I agree, better lighting.
Prove a point? not quite. both of these were taken by a pretty good photographer and i was honestly trying to decide which one to print.

I ask my parents of course. They are not the ones who find me auditions, ask questions, or try to learn about the business. That's me. I take charge of my building career. My mom and dad know every time I post a picture. I tell them and ask them for permission. They let me do my own thing.
