ok.. my opinion.. these are not really good to submit for professional auditions. the makeup is wayyyyy too heavy, and the outfit is a little distracting...definitely lose the hat.
if you relax a little bit more, and go for a more natural look, you'll get much better results.

Uh, my pictures are not crap. I did them for a modeling shoot I was just asking if I could also use them for auditions because a lot of photographers told me theyre really good but I know modeling and acting are different. Jeez. I was just wondering...

DON'T SUBMIT ANY OF THESE! The beige background is depressing. The exposure is bad (especially in the 2nd & 3rd pics.) Lose the hat. Ease up on the makeup. The outfit & pearls in the 3rd shot make you come off way older than you are. The first one could be almost pseudo-useable (as in, you've got an audition tomorrow and NO other photos), but the high collar is distracting, it's cropped too closely, and you shouldn't use a side shot. Also, I don't really see any identifiable emotion in any of theses shots.
You're obviously a very pretty girl, and you deserve a photographer who knows how to help you show it off. Shop around! Check out www.reproductions.com as a starting off point. If you're not in NYC or LA, find some headshots from NYC or LA photographers and take them to someone near you as a reference. CDs can spot an out of town shot from a mile away!
Sorry if I sound harsh, but trust me, it's a lot easier to hear from a bulletin post than to NOT hear it from a casting director or agent because they tossed your pic in the trash without giving it a second glance!

Cassandra, you have gorgeous eyes! For headshots, you may want something more natural, and cropped bust-up. Have your pictures that you posted here handy, in smaller markets like Atlanta a casting director may want some examples of modeling on file, too.

You look almost frightened, if not simply vapid. You're pretty, definitely, but these aren't even model-caliber shots. Especially the last one. The first is the best, but each looks like a shot of you playing dress-up. I agree that it's better to hear this from interested strangers online than it is to give your time and money to photographers that don't mind whether or not you get work.

I kind of like the last one but I wish your head was turned a bit more to your right and you had a more sultry expression. It would be a good, sexy shot. But I agree that these probably aren't your best bet to submit as headshots.
they are nice shots, but no, they can't be used as a professional actors headshot. most modeling shots can't double over because modeling shots are very different from acting shots.
i think the board at one point had a headshot photog from atlanta, but i haven't seen them in a long while, so i don't know if they still post.
good luck!

Wow about what (puts her music on)?
I believe I was being shy about this headshot to be honest, since going into an essay with this horrible photos will be a waste of typing and time. There is bad, and there is atrocious.
