I have a difficult time pining my "type" as far as casting goes; and my friends feel weird when I ask them Smiler. I am growing out my hair so I guess I am in type-limbo... Anyway I'd really appreciate some feedback-- let me know if I can offer you the same in the future.

Thanks in advance comrades Smiler

I think you have a terrific look.

I just spoke on another thread about how hair styles define character, and short locks really suit you -- giving you a "hip and strong" look similar to what you'd see in indies and majors alike. See: Carrie-Ann Moss in "Matrix."

However, you have a facial shape that will lend itself to longer looks, too. Long hair may make you more castable for more mainstream romantic roles, but short hair looks terrific on you, as well. Just make sure that your hair dresser shapes the front to frame your eyes, your absolute most riveting feature.

You'll eventually need new headshots. Your photographer shot you on location at twilight with a small flash unit, directly over the camera. This makes you look a little harsh, but easily correctable with proper lighting.

You look like you can pull off understated beauty with smarts to spare just below the surface. A real woman. Congrats -- that's quite a deal.

i agree. intelligent leading lady type. someone who would be cast as a lead in a show like csi miami or ER. Or as a student/professional type. You have a very unique look (usually people just play up looks and sex appeal, sigh) so yes, when you can, get real headshots done! you'll have tons of doors open with real headshots (taken during the day with a real headshot photographer). you've got such perfect skin! hope this helps.

Good luck!

I see a blue collar working girl, someone not with alot of money.

waitress, cook, maybe even female mechanic.. a hands on type of girl.

you need to move the light source to a higher position for a better shot.

For some odd reason, I'm having trouble envisioning this woman busing dishes, slaving in front of a hot stove, or changing greasy oil filters underneath a filthy automobile...

I'd love to see you with a cute quirky "pixie" look. Big smile, wide eyes, capable of magic...and flying. :-)

I know this doesn't answer the question but I can't help going back to these pictures thinking how tall are you? You have fantastic facial bone structure and big gorgeous eyes which leads me to ... why aren't you modeling?

She reminds me of a much younger version of the Director on NCIS. I see playing intelligent. I can kinda see waitress but those eyes are just too big and pretty for a working class girl, you'd really have to play them down. Definately a CSI character. Love the short hair on you.

I agree about longer hair. But luckily in this day and age you can have both! Buy the (real hair) clip-in extensions and take pix with both looks. The real hair clipins are more expensive, over $100 but they are worth it -- they last longer and you can dye, curl and straighten them.

Short hair=business woman and mom.

Longer hair=leading lady

Why not put yourself out there for all types?

Hmmm... I disagree about the long hair. You just don't give off that vibe like the Hollywood cookie cutter would be for you. Your current look is so strong and distinct! Your hair color is to be envied. The fact that you are getting such strong concensus on "CSI leading lady" is a plus. Let's face it... CDs don't want to and will not waste brain cells trying to figure out your type.

Get a pro headshot... but send these pics to some modeling agencies just for fun.
