I'm really new to the business. I would like to do acting, modeling, and commercials. Any suggestions or input would be great! Thanks!

NONE of your pics are suitable for acting! You need to look through Reproductions.com and see the difference between model pics and ACTING headshots.

To make up for you lack of credits, study with the best in NY. I'm sure a New Yorker can chime in on training.

Since you're in NY, do plays and student films too.

With some cropping the white T-shirt pic could be a nice theatrical headshot, although it would be better if you were making eye contact. None of them, however, are good commercial shots.

You might get more responses if you size down your pictures and post them right in your post so people don't have to click around and scavenger hunt for them. :-)

I'd like the below picture if your head was down and to the left (camera right) a little more and engaging the camera instead of doing the cocky chin-up thing.

The rest are a bit too model-y and some of the clothing is a bit flamboyant for an acting headshot, unless you're going out for that kind of role.

You should really put these pics on photobucket or another picture site because all of your personal info is on that page. it would be extremly easy to find you. there are very creepy people in the world, so yeah.

NONE of these are good!

In the first one you have that annoying smug "look at me look."

You can't see the upper part of your torso clearly. That's important for the casting directors and agents to see.

In the third one, you shirt has a distracting pattern. And it's preferred that you have a clean shaven look for a commercial shot. A scruffy look is suitable for theatrical.

The first is nice but the last two are bad. Since you are in New York, look at someone like Robert Kim or Dennis Kwan's work. I don't think your headshots can compete with the level of quality presented by the actors on their pages.

Have these pics been retouched? No offense but you look very scruffy and disheveled in these pics. You really need to get new headshots and I think no matter how many you post from this series you are going to get the same answer.

Ok...new headshots. Thoughts? Picks for commercial/dramatic? Thanks!

The lighting is terrible. They look fake compared to how you look in natural lighting.

the lighting can be fixed in photoshop, not a big deal

I think the third on top is the best for theatrical
